Manufacturers with the right social and ecological attitude

Eco? Logical!

You can be sure that we have spent a long time looking for the right manufacturer with the right social and ecological attitude. Similar to our bamboo products, we spared no expense or effort to pick out the finest fabric from the Silk Road for you. We wanted 100% fair, 100% organic and 100% comfortable.

Luckily, we came across like-minded people during our search and got our beautiful pieces from a pioneer of the T-shirt market, which produces in accordance with the strictest environmental regulations throughout its entire production chain. In short: a piece to enjoy without a guilty conscience and with an absolute feel-good character.

What exactly is Fair Wear?

The Fair Wear Foundation works with brands, factories, unions, non-profit organizations and sometimes even governments to monitor and improve working conditions in the respective production countries. By exchanging expertise, social dialogue and bringing together partners in the textile industry, the FWF promotes sustainable, social and fair work.

By checking the production chain almost completely, it is ensured that the working conditions at each station are the same or meet the standards of the organization. The more than 80 member companies of the FWF represent over 120 brands and are based in Europe. Change and social responsibility always require a certain amount of effort and come at a price, but in return you make a difference and don't look away. That's why we at Ligarti have decided to only use Fair Wear traded T-shirts and sweaters.

"The Fair Trade movement is growing as people realize that they can help alleviate poverty and protect the environment by choosing Fair Trade products." – Robert Alan Silverstein
